I've long been a fan of Diana's voice and Richard's production skills so this was always one I'd be checking out. On this occasion the vocals are largely delivered in a breathy, smouldering spoken style, dovetailing perfectly with the deep swirling synths and booming bassline of the "Original Mix". The "Dave Shorland Remix" is a bit busier rhythmically with chiming keys and funky sax the most obvious highlights. Next up is the "Tom Chubb Remix" which is a real throwback with old school keys and a dubby feel that takes me back to the heady days of the mid 90s. The "Random Rhythms Remix" completes the package with a punchy NY style house groove punctuated by heavy rhythms and vocal stabs that are guaranteed to ignite the floor. Four stunning mixes with the "Original" just shading it for me but you can always check out the samples and decide for yourself. Available now through Traxource.
