Frisky Rhythms is a music blog that focuses mainly on contemporary and classic house music. The site is operated by Dean Serafini who previously presented the radio show of the same name on Housebeat Radio. The blog follows on from JJazproJect Magazine which did more or less the same thing between 2002 and 2012.

Dean has DJ'd on and off since 1989, mainly in and around his home town of Falkirk, (Scotland) and most notably as one of the residents in BTW during the 90s. Dean's reviews and articles for JJazproJect led to him working freelance for a number of labels helping with sleeve notes and artist biographies.

This blog was originally designed to feature the radio shows but will now focus on reviews of new music along with label and artist profiles. It's also the intention to include regular exclusive mix shows.
