Can 7 return to Peppermint Jam with a lovely tune and a wonderful package of remixes. There are a total of seven versions which cover a number of bases. The "Can 7 Reshake" is a mid tempo soulful house groove that would have been very much at home in the early Beach House compilations with soothing rhodes, rolling bass, gentle guitars and the sweetest of vocals. "Allovers Sexual Remix" drops the tempo a touch, firms up the beats and introduces an alternative keyboard arrangement and synth bass creating an emotionally charged mood. Next up is the Platzdasch & Dix Remix" which treads a much deeper path with an almost eerie vibe leaving only really the vocal from the original production. The !I Gemin Remix" picks up the pace and injects a little funk to proceedings while the "Sek Remix" is a straight up house vibe with old school analog bass and percussion that summons you to the floor. "Meines Remix" has a sweet soulful summer groove with really pleasing keys and a wood wind instrument I can't quite identify. The package concludes with the "Adam Kroll Remix" which is an old fashioned drum and bass interpretation which although it's not my style will open up the track to an alternative audience.
