Quadrophenia - Paradise [New Age]

House music may well have originated in Chicago but it was the Europeans who took that sound to a much wider audience back in the late 80s and early 90s. The Italians in particular seemed to embrace the more melodic style with many amazing tracks that lit up both the underground and commercially driven floors. I don't remember exactly how I stumbled across this particular track, it was in all likelihood at Glasgow's 23rd Precinct which was at the time, the store of choice in Scotland for the discerning DJ. However it happened, this is a perfect example of Italo House at its finest with a lush arrangement, sultry vocals and gorgeous sax.
