Flashback 1993

Kenny Thomas - Trippin' On Your Love [Cooltempo]

By the time this one landed in 1993, Kenny Thomas already had numerous hits under his belt with his wonderful voice receiving the remix treatment from the great and good of the scene. "Trippin' On Your Love" by this point had already been released by A Way Of Life and by Arthur Miles but this was the first time it had been been given a US style house treatment. The man entrusted with that task was none other than Roger Sanchez who delivered a huge package of mixes and dubs providing multiple options for DJs to work the track into their sets. I've picked out "Roger's Organic Mix" since it showcases the full vocal but "Roger's Grand Diva Dub" was the obvious weapon of choice for the floor. Truthfully all the dubs were smokin'. I'm struggling to find credits to confirm but I'm almost certain that the awesome keys were performed by James Preston who worked frequently with Roger in the early to mid 90s. Anyway, it's a great track that brings back more amazing memories.
