Today's journey back in time finds us in 1994 and reconnecting with an awesome cover version. Originally recorded by Thelma Houston back in 1978, T-Empo's revision is underscored by bounding keys and an excellent vocal performance from Loretta Johnson. There weren't too many tracks that year that proved more effective in my gigs and it was smack back in the middle of an amazing era for house music.
