Blacksmith - Get Back To Love [FFrr]

Heading back to the tail end of the 80s and a track that exemplified great soulful house music, albeit this would have been described as Garage back then (before the rise of the UK garage scene). Blacksmith were the UK based trio of Hugh Atkins, Karl Atkins & Pete Trotman whose remixes proved more prolific than their own releases; the words "Brixton Bass Mix" were a positive indicator of quality back in the early 90s in particular. "Get Back To Love" was and still is an uplifting track with both soul and energy in abundance; with Josh Milan, Chris Herbert and Kevin Hedge aka Blaze on the remix this version has their New Jersey stamp all over it too.
