The fifth show of 2026 finds me digging through the crates again picking out tunes that haven't made it into previous shows and one or two that just needed another spin.

Full Intention - Sky's The Limit [Kookoo Records]
Jon Pearn & Michael Gray are back in the Full Intention guise with a piano driven anthemic release. It's built upon a chassis that replays and samples elements of D Train's 1982 classic "Keep On" ensuring maximum hands in the air effectiveness. "Sky's The Limit" has been previewed several times on Michael Gray's monthly shows on Mi Soul Radio over the last year and is certain to be well received wherever and whenever it's played. Available now on Traxsource promo with an official release date of Juy 2nd.

Franz vu Letzebuerg presents Brian Christopher - In The Spirit Of Love [Big Box Recordings]
It was a pleasant surprise when this arrived in my in box recently; a slice of soulful house with soothing vocals, lush keys and an old school NYC style bassline that has me thinking of the early 1990s and some classics from that era. The Dub in particular is reminiscent of Roger Sanchez material back when soulful house was his bag. Full Intention provide an excellent interpretation with an organic vibe, synth bass and atmospheric synth strings which inject a fair amount of emotional resonance. All three mixes work nicely and I can see myself playing this one for some time to come. Available to pre-order now on Traxsource with a release date of November 2nd.
