The latest release from Rob Hayes finds him delivering a tasteful cover of Midnight Starr's classic from 1986. It's a track for which I have fond memories, one which featured heavily in the clubs back when I was exploring the scene in my late teens. Rob 's new interpretation stacks up rather nicely with crisp rhythms, soothing keyboards and a warm bassline. The vibe works nicely with the soulful and uplifting vocals and there's a grave danger that I might be about to annoy the rest of the household by singing along. Available now on Traxsource promo with an official release date of 20th February.
