Rob Hayes - Midas Touched [Audio Honey]
The latest release from Rob Hayes finds him delivering a tasteful cover of Midnight Starr's classic from 1986. It's a track for which I have fond memories, one which featured heavily in the clubs back when I was exploring the scene in my late teens. Rob 's new interpretation stacks up rather nicely with crisp rhythms, soothing keyboards and a warm bassline. The vibe works nicely with the soulful and uplifting vocals and there's a grave danger that I might be about to annoy the rest of the household by singing along. Available now on Traxsource promo with an official release date of 20th February.

Rob Hayes - Feel The Heat [Audio Honey]
It may be the middle of Winter hear in the UK but Rob Hayes is getting into the spirit of Summer nice and early. "Feel The Heat" is catchy groove that's aimed squarely at the floor. The combination of guitars, keys and uplifting vocals create something of a hands in the air vibe that will brighten most moods. With vocals that remind me very much of Barbara Tucker and a and a killer dub this one's got my full attention. Available on Traxsource promo now with an official release date of 20th February.

Rob Hayes ft Rebecca Burgin - You Do Something To Me [Audio Honey]
Rob Hayes returns with another cracker on his own Audio Honey label. This time around he's joined by Rebecca Burgin who puts in an excellent stellar on vocals. The original version of the track is underpinned by crisp rhythms and a blend of soothing keys. The vibe is soulful and uplifting but it's those sultry vocals that steal the show. The package also includes remixes from Alex Vasco, Testone & Eric Faria, Ignacio & Susanne Alt all of which also work nicely. Available on Traxsource promo now with an official release date of 15th December.

Rob Hayes - Drifting Away [Audio Honey]
Rob Hayes returns with another slice of soulful and uplifting house music. There are three mixes in which the beautifully delivered female vocals feature prominently. Rob's Original Mix is underpinned by crisp beats and the smoothest keyboard arrangement creating a vibe that oozes soul. The second mix comes from Ricky da Dragon and is quite a bit punchier, the synths and electronic bass create a mid 90s moody groove that reminds me of a blend of Stonebridge and MK at the peak of their powers. The final mix comes from Stonedove who heads down the full on piano house route to create an absolute stomper that's sure to light up many a peak-time floor. I'm favoring Ricky da Dragon's Remix but I'm sure you can make up your own mind. Out now on Traxsource promo with an official release date of 24th September.

Rob Hayes ft Tony Lindsay - Reach Out (2018 Remixes)
Just released this week on Audio Honey is this gem of a track. Rob Hayes revisits one of his own releases from a few years back creating another heavenly slice of soulful house music that put a huge grin on my face the moment I heard it. The warmth of the keyboard arrangement dovetails perfectly with Tony's silky smooth voice and the gentle little guitar licks. It's taking every last ounce of self restraint to stop myself from singing along. Simply beautiful!
