The third show for 2026 finds us exploring predominantly new(ish) tunes. The journey starts on the deeper side before blending in some straight up vocal house and closing with a few disco infused vibes. I managed to work in a track from last year that I'd been meaning to include for some time and Sgt Slick's excellent remix of "I Wanna Be Your Lover" allowed me to round things off with a little bit of magic from the purple one.
Doug Gomez & DJ Loka - Shadows (Original Mix)
Carla Prather - Here For It (Sean's Raw Vibe Dub Mix)
Ralf GUM meets Chinua Hawk - Mirrors (Ralf GUM Main Mix)
Rony Breaker ft Chinua Hawk - Solid Ground (Brian Tappert for the Heads Remix)
Tour-Maubourg - Feel Inside
Colette, Richard Earnshaw & Kenny Summit - The Sunshine
Marc Evans - Back To Your Place (Crackazat Remix)
Sarah Jane Morris & Mario Biondi - Back Together Again (Jazz-N-Groove Dub Mix)
Micky More & Andy Tee ft Fatimah Provillon - All The People (Extended)
Brian Alexander Morgan ft Martha Wash - Give It 2 Ya (DJ Spen & Reelsoul Remix)
Audiowhores - Can't Shake Your Love
Definite Grooves - Disco Light (Extended Mix)

Flashback
Martha Wash - Carry On [RCA Records]
Heading back in time for the first issue of what can only be described as classic house music. While the song received subsequent remixes from Todd Terry, Full Intention and Tuff Jam in 1997 it was Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez as Masters At Work who delivered the mixes that have stood the test of time. By 1992, and following on from her role in The Weather Girls, Martha had went on to provide the vocals for massive commercially succesful productions by Black Box and C&C Music Factory. In the case of Black Box, Martha's vocals were used without her permission and without payment and it was the subsequent litigation and resulting publicity that helped to propel the start of her solo career. The vocals on this one are quite breathtaking and I've picked out a couple of the Masters At Work mixes for your consideration. Enjoy!
